21. New Zealand South Island
The ferry to the South island was OK.  It was rough at times but I didn't realise because Alex who works on ships, gave me some v.strong travel-sick pills & after ten minutes I couldn't focus & had no idea what was going on.  

We went to a few different places, they were all a bit nothing, not beacuse they were crap, but because we were only at each place for a few hours to sleep & then got back on the bus.  The whole NZ trip has been quite rushed & therefore feels slightly pointless as I don't really feel like I've got much out of it, however now I'm going straight to Singapore so in fact it has been a two weeks of rest before that.  

I left Chloe in Queenstown & it took about four days to get to Christchuch, & when I got there I met up with Stacey, the American girl I met in Brazil.  I stayed a night at her house & the next day Chloe & the boys arrived.  It is raining here, but despite the shite weather it still doesn't feel festive.  

I am getting an internal flight on thursday from Christchurch to Auckland, then a few hours later a flight to Sydney, then on to Singapore.  Chloe is going to Fiji & we can meet up later in Asia.
