15. Salta
We got back from the salt desert trip and had 12 hours to kill before our train to the Bolivian/Argentinian border at 2.30am.  We were so greasy + smelly as we hadn`t been able to have a shower in 5days.  We sat outside a bar + Ben, Gary + David walked past.   We all went + had pizza + played monopoli + the boys were bizzarely competitive + money grabby.  Then we went back to there hostal to kill time.  
 
We got on the train + it was so cosy warm, we got blankets + pillows + food + stuff.  We were in a carrage with 4 American girls, all our age, Claire, Kristin, Kristin + Hilary.  They were going to Salta too + they are all lovely.  We got to the border about 9hours later + got on a coach for 7hours to Salta.  The next day we all went for food + I met Manu as he´s been here about a week now.  It is really nice to be somewhere more normal.  The food is properly nice, it is quite like a European city, it is hot, you don´t have to worry about there being no toilets, it is clean + a normal amount of beggars.
 
Me + the American girls went to find a gym as they had done the salt lake tour as well + also felt shitty from sitting in a jeep for 4days.  We got to this one but it was awful old metal machines + I felt disappointed, but then we stayed for this Tiaboe class`+ it was so so brilliant, punching + kicking + so so knackering, I´m still achy but we´re going again today.  
 
We decided it should be my birthday, so we went for drinks + then the six of us girls + Manu plus 3 other boys from his hostal, a german, a canadian + an australian, all went for massive steak.  Then we went to this bar.  There was a big fat greasy man who would not leave me alone + kept grabbing me every 5minutes + he came up behind Manu + tryed to touch me over his shoulder, so I pushed Manu out of the way + punched the guy full in the face!!!  I was drunk + I think the class had affected me.  
This other old man kept buying me us champagne + writing poems for Manu on bits of napkin.  
 
Me + Manu went up 1070 steps up this big hill that overlooks the whole city.  It was so so hot + there were cool waterfalls at the top that I got in + played around.  Manu fell asleep on the table + than We got the cable car down. I looked at the shops with the girls + then went for food later
We´re going rafting again tomorrow, with the ten of us
