Just got the carpets down - What the hell is going on in the airing cupboard?

UUhh oh - everything is soaking wet

Turns out the tank has been leaking for at least a year - everything is rusted and the chipboard the tank is sitting on just crumbles away in your hand. 'Very dangerous' says Paul the plumber.

Paul comes back on Monday - puts his foot through the floor trying to get the old tank out - stays till 10pm putting it all back together again.

Sadly no action shots - I think that would have been the last straw for Paul the plumber.
